So I feel i should announce that the Prologue for the game is not to far away from being released. It will be in the FPS creator Engine ( Don't worry a lot of custom stuff will still go into it. I will ensure it is of the best quality that me,Lotims and the rest of the team can deliver) This release will detail the events that happened before the MTF Maz Hatters were sent in. It will be from the point of view of a young guard at the site who manged to survive the initial outbreak.  The infected models are almost done and hopefully we will be able to add them to the game on release. The map has be planed and will soon be built and an ending is being thought up now. Any scripters familiar with FPS creator willing to help will speed things along. One last thing anybody willing to make a SCP foundation sign you would help greatly.  While I am not sure how many times this will be updated(before we make the main game, we will keep updating adding new models, bug fixes what ever we can.  I almost forgot any project members reading this should report to the topic Developer/team chat to find out what needs to be done to pull this game across the finish line.  Thank you

Looking forward to seeing how this prologue goes.

So an assumption I am forming is that the MTF squad the player in the full game is a part off is sent in to investigate this research station? Will the player be able to find the prologue character in the game? Dead or Alive.

why ? FPS Creator, sorry but this Engine is ... hum ... Outdated (no bump mapping, no Shaders, lighting is old (like in Quake I) ...)

Possible engine :

- Unreal Engine III (UDK) -> I know !
- CryEngine III ( Crysis 3, Farcry (2 /) 3 Engine) -> I would see.
- Unity 3.5 -> a little ...
- FPS Creator X10 Engine -> Nope
- From Scratch ( good luck ... !!) -> Bye ... (I know C++ but i never create Engine)

Right now is being built in the UDK. Uh CryEgine 3......That would be bit hard for any of us to use.

No. If we're using C++ the lowest I'm going is Ogre3D or an equivalent library. Sure I could learn a lot by teaching myself OpenGL but it would take MONTHS to get a map rendered in the game, let alone a playable demo.

You compile with VS2XXX or Code::Blocks ? I have Code::Blocks. But i know just Irrilicht ! I look the documentation of Ogre3d.

It is soonish to come. A game engine change did occur between then and now, that's the reason for the delay. But it is on the way for sure now.
