Not sure of a name yet, but I've been thinking about this one for awhile:

Basically imagine a naked female who's arms, legs, and torso have all been elongated, making it tower over the player. The neck would be elongated even more then the arms or legs, and the head at the end of it would be bald, and devoid of all emotion. It isn't an offensive creatures, instead it is more of a scout. When the player is alone this creature would be near silent, stalking the player, sometimes using its neck to peak around corners or doorways to look at the player, maybe even crawling on the ceiling, with the players only way of knowing it is there by looking up.

When spotted the creature could run off, and perhaps let out a scream or sound to alert other infected.

I don't imagine it looking gory or disfigured, more like a Human female with very long arms, legs, and head, with that brown infected tint all over it, it's a scout, not an offensive creature that benefits from the shock factor that its looks give.

Good I like that but it should still try to infect you. I was thinking something that hunts the play like a stalker of some sort. Maybe it was once a bear or some unholy mass of flesh that is designed to hunt the player down.

Maybe you could have it so that if it is stalking the player, it could slowly approach you, and if it got close without you noticing it could attack.

It could also attack if you have it cornered.

And perhaps playing with the idea of a bear-hunter thing: A very Large creature made from 3 or 4 bears pulled into one, it can not see, nor is its sense of smell good either, it hunts its prey based on sound, if the player makes enough noise it could charge at that location, and if the stalker creature emitted the scream the Bear-thing could come in charging.

I'll draw something up tomorrow, It should look very menacing and large, evoke panic in players (Like the Bear in Condemned 2.)

Oh my god... I just got the creeps when thinking about this thing stalking the player and peeking around corners. Maybe give it some creepy unholy sounds to accompany it. Maybe when you see it, it lets out this blood curdling scream to warn the others of your position. I think it should also at least try to infect you too. Maybe after you spot it.

Field Name: SWALLOWER

A unique form of infected, this one is shown as a tall emasculated infected with it's mouth being a large flesh tube stretching to the floor. It is nearly blind due to flesh overgrowing over it eyes, but can see a very short distance, but it has a good sense of sound and smell. It will typically wander around an indoor area of choice and spread the infection around, as well as occasionally leaving its territory to patrol the local area.

Upon hearing any movement it will halt all prior activity and start to sniff the air, if it can detect any non-infected smells it will charge at a jogging speed towards the last sound it heard. Upon reaching within seeing distance of the target it will user its arms to secure the prey before using its mouth tube to effectively swallow the prey whole at a rapid speed, at this point internal teeth and other appendages will move the prey to its stomach while seemingly keeping the prey alive. From here the infected will retreat to a hidden location and start to feed off the preys, spewing out a large amount of infection and will start to evolve into a yet unidentified entity.

At this point infected tend to converge around the entity 07 making observation impossible.

Further observation is required to determine what occurs at this point and what entity 07 evolves into.

The infected guard would be a infected in body armor. Thus making it harder for the player to take them down,however they would be slower as a result of the armor.

Make it a very Humanoid figure, with thin arms and legs with claws at the end, on the torso infected flesh could come bursting out of weak points in the plate armor. He could be made scary by having a still working gas mask, and make his head twitch violently at all times, making the lights from the masks dart every where (Could really get to the player if they are in a really dark room.) Not sure if he should be slow or fast, though.

An Armour is essentially a recently infected human wearing combat equipment, at this time the equipment worn is either Russian Standard Issue or MTF Issue weapons and Armour.

*COPIED FROM FULL D-01A REPORT*
Due to this infected only being recently infected it retains a somewhat humanoid appearance and size, while clearly not human at a glance, with its flesh being turned into the standard rotten flesh that is associated with the infected. This form of infected is a moderate threat to MTF teams, but should not be difficult to terminate, unlike other more advance infected forms this one is vulnerable to head shots or attacks that target the Brain or Spinal Cord. It's main attacks consist of attempting to scratch and bite a target in an attempt to consume the prey. Its movement can vary from a slow walk to jogging speed.

The main difference between this variant is that this version carries some of the equipment it was carrying while alive, as well as it is protected by its combat uniform, thus making it more difficult to terminate via gunfire, especially the MTF variant which is heavily armored.

Recommended method of termination is via Explosives or Flame attack, however teams are instructed to attempt to terminate infected MTF entity's via gunfire to ID and reacquire any intact equipment on the infected.

A good example is in the game Miasmata, in it when you find an item, say a new flower or new method of making medicine, your journal will update with this new info as well as information on that.

Depends on the state of the infected, if it is a recent convert than it should move somewhat similar to a human. If it is a gigantic overgrown flesh sack than it should stumble around on its tiny legs.

How should combat with humans work. My idea was If you're shot their would be a bleeding effect like SCP:CB. However your body armor would stop some damage. I'm still working on what hand to hand combat should be like.

How about a gigantic infected monster made by like 5-7 moose that can spread the infection on walls, the floor and the ceiling of the room your in (Like on Silent Hill The Movie when the girl enters the bathroom and the darkness appears and some sort of rotten material spreads across the room). This creature will be very hard to take down.
