The Walker is the most basic form of infected observed to date (04/02/[REDACTED]). It is a humanoid entity of about 1 meter height. They are slow moving entity's and are easily out runned buy most lifeforms. They spread the infection by either scratching or biting. They are somewhat unique in that they project very little of the airborne infection from their bodies, meaning small to medium groups of these entity's can be found in buildings that show no signs of infection, however this does allow for unprotected personal to be in proximity to the infected with little risk of airborne infection.

Best method of termination is via blunt force applied to the head area, or a bullet used. Reports from Long-term Reconnaissance MTF Agent(LRMA) [REDACTED] have indicated even low powered stabs into the creatures spinal cord will terminate the entity.

THREAT LEVEL: LOW

Addendum: It has been reported by LRMA [REDACTED] that these entity's, along side other entity's, often converge to areas where Entity: 07 (SWALLOWER) is undergoing its transformation sequence.

Thanks, I tried to keep a logical and sensible order of the infected in terms of their evolution from the weaker entity's and the powerful ones. I will write the more advance infected articles to be vague and with little information to reinforce the idea that little is known of these things.

I was thinking that the main objective of the players squad was to learn more about a specific entity or clear out an infestation, say a Swallower has infected an area near a research center and the squad was to clear it out and learn more about the entity.

I also thought adding in a Long-Term MTF Agent would be interesting, could either be an interesting encounter with a seasoned veteran or a person who leaves behind valuable clues and hints about the infected.

SCP-610 appears to be a contagious skin disease at first with symptoms including rash, itching, and increased skin sensitivity. Within [REDACTED] hours the disease will cause blemishes resembling heavy scar tissue to form in the chest and arm areas, spreading to the legs and back within an additional [REDACTED], consuming the victim completely within [REDACTED]. Exposure to higher temperatures vastly decreases the time for the contagion to spread and complete infections have been recorded occurring in as little as five minutes.

There is no known way to combat infection by SCP-610, aside from ingesting a pill of SCP-500 or possible use of [REDACTED]. The best countermeasure is to prevent infection in the first place, by the order of O5-2 special equipment has been researched and produced to help protect field personal from infection, though an actual field test has yet to be undertaken.

LTFA [REDACTED] has reported that fire can eliminate airborne elements of the infection, as well as proving to be an effective way of terminating infected entity's. Though if an infected human is exposed to a fire source they can be completely turned into an infected entity in a short time.

Field name: SCREAMER

A screamer appears as a naked infected human female who's body has been elongated to the point of the creature being over 2 meters in height. More noticeable is that its neck can stretch to be even longer up to half a meter. It is one of the few infected entity's that will not instantly attack any prey it identifys. It prefers to stalk its prey and observe, using its long neck to peek behind walls and cover, as well as being somehow capable of climbing on walls and ceilings to avoid detection and to continue to observe its prey. If it is able to remain unobserved or remain out of sight it will start to become aggressive and attempt to infect its prey.

When it is detected or if it is attacked it will start to scream and run away from the prey in an attempt to lure more infected to its location, it will typically move to a secluded area and continue to scream for several minutes.

There have been unconfirmed reports that the entity may instead of retreating after being spotted that it will instead opt for a suicidal charge towards its prey whilst screaming, these reports cannot be verified at this time as contact with personal reporting this have failed to report in.

Best method of termination is unknown at this time, however it appears that targeting its long and exposed neck will in actuality not harm the creature, a theory is that the actual brain of the entity is not located within its head.

The most recent infected entity discovered by observation teams, it should be noted that the FLAYER typically appear to be a normal infected or even a human. It is believed that this is an intentional disguise. Images show that it seemingly has very large claws as hands.

Information on this entity is still pending review and correlation.

Initial analysis indicates that the flayer hides within the flesh of a dead human target in an attempt to lure in a target, unconfirmed reports suggest it is capable of mimicking human movements and even speech. When a target gets within close range it will rip out of its flesh suit and attack the target.

THREAT LEVEL: PENDING.

Field Name: EMULATOR

An emulator is one of the more complex and unusual infected encountered to date. An emulator appears as a humanoid with four arms and three eyes, giving it complete view of what is in front of it. It appears to be from initial appearance a sub form of the Screamer except a male, a theory is that this is the male version of the Screamer. Combat images show that its head only contains its eyes with the brain being located within the upper chest area.

What makes the Emulator unique is its ability to understand basic concepts such as equipment and weapon usage. In all cases a Emulator is capable of opening and closing doors, ranging from outright bashing the door to stealthy opening it. Emulators also have a uniqe property where they will not use their own body as an offensive weapon, but chose to use a tool or weapon for that. Most Emulators will use improvised weapons such as lead pipes or knives in combat, while some of the more advance versions are capable of even using firearms to an extent.

Even more concerning is that groups of Emulators are capable of coordinating with one another in a combat situation, using a set of groans and gurgles to indicate where the prey is moving and giving the prey's location. A priority issued by Command to all MTF units is to attempt to capture a live Emulator if possible for field study, as well as to ascertain if Emulators are intelligent.

A identified weakness is that the Emulators do not have any ability to hear or see anything behind them except for their own kind, making sneaking by an Emulator a possibility.

Field Name: SHIELD

To date this has been identified as the most powerful and aggressive Infected entity encountered. The entity stands at about 1.7 meters on average, slightly above the average human height. It's field name comes from almost its entire front end being covered in a massive hardened shield, images show this may be made out of bones, due to the interesting composition of the shield several researchers have assumed that these bones are taken from already dead individuals and glued together.

Unfortunately to date no image of the actual entity has been captured that has not been obstructed by its shield. All encounters with this entity have resulted in all personal being terminated by the entity, with the only person to survive an encounter is LTFA [REDACTED].

*SUMMERY OF LTFA [REDACTED]'s REPORT*
- Entity is capable of moving at very fast speeds, possibly up to 30+ kilometers per hour.
- Its main method of attack is to crush a prey with its shield, however it is capable of multiple other forms of attacks. (See Report-G-03/2)
- There are several holes in the front shield, allowing for a sharpshooter to hit the entity.
- It is very resilient, I was able to hit the entity with many attacks to its actual body (Gunfire, explosives, melee) and was able to destroy most of its shield yet it was able to continue its pursuit of me. Even with multiple limbs being destroyed.
- They are very rare to find, they only seem to live within the deepest zones of the infection, and their numbers seem few.
- They tend to hunt in packs.

How about a blind infected but very very very almost insta-death if it hears you. It grows back any damage done to it, inleast you burn it.

Field Name: DOOM

This entity is extremely powerful and deadly, capable of killing any targeted prey within seconds. The entity appears as four legged humanoid, its extra legs serve as a redundant in case one of it legs is disabled. It is almost as fast as a SHIELD entity. The entire midsection of the entity is a giant mouth filled with multiple rows of sharp teeth, unlike the SWALLOWER which attempts to keep its prey alive, the DOOM simply wants violently eat its prey, and is seemingly very adapt at this task. Very few known pieces of Armour can withstand even a single bite attempt from this creature, and its speed means that it can kill a prey before the prey can even react.

Unique to the DOOM is that it has the ability to regrow any of its limbs should they be destroyed, this means terminating the entity with conventional weapons is a near impossibility, barring the deployment of significant heavy weapons (Incident-K:14-01 resulted in the deployment of multiple Attack Helicopters, Main Battle Tanks, Heavy Machinegun squads and even a Gunship before finally being able to terminate three attacking DOOM entity's who attacked a research base).

However the DOOM has several significant weakness that can be exploited. They are completely blind meaning it is possible to sneak past DOOM entity's so long as minimal noises are made. They also almost never leave the location they are inhabiting, save for a prey. However a major weakness discovered during Incident-K:14-01 is that extremely high intensity fire can terminate the entity (This was discovered when an entity destroyed an escaping VTOL Transport, one of the engines, still powered on, landed on the entity which was able to severely wound it). Unfortunately the fire temperature needed to terminate a DOOM entity is far beyond what can be employed by a standard issue Flamethrower, however fire will significantly slow the creature down and stop some of its regenerative ability's, allowing for personal to escape.

At this time all personal should make every attempt to avoid being detected by a DOOM entity, and if one is discovered then its location should be given to Command to authorize an Air Strike on the location.

THREAT LEVEL: EXTREMELY HIGH.
